Here is a chemocap pattern I made up for you. More information and other patterns are available at Chemocaps.com (thanks, Kary!)

Top-Down Knit Chemocap Pattern #1 - Tall Crown, I-cord Variation

(This is a draft; let me know if it's cockeyed, please. A flat-top version is coming soon - thanks again, Leah!)

Send finished Chemocaps to: Chemocaps, c/o Ronni Spoll, 51 Sutton Place, Easton, PA, 18045.

Size: Ladies Large (will fit up to a 22 head)
Final Measurement: Approximately 20.5 in circumference
For a smaller size, simply stop increasing sooner. Remember that a hat - especially one for a person with no hair - should have a negative fit; down an inch or two from the measured head size should do.

Materials: (1) 50g/1.75 oz. (150 yards) ball of Plymouth Encore Colorspun D.K., color 7065-Baby Girl

DPNs size US7; one stitch marker

Gauge: 5 sts./inch

Abbreviations:
K1 - knit one
M1 - make one using a lifted bar increase
Kf&b - knit into front and back of stitch, thereby increasing by 1

Cast on 6 sts. Knit an i-cord, 1 long if leaving plain, 2-3 long if planning to tie in a knot.

Round 1: Increase to 12 stitches and begin using all your DPNs.

Round 2 and ALL EVEN ROUNDS: K 1 round.

Round 3: *K1, M1, K1* OR *K1, Kf&b* around, whichever method of increasing you prefer. (18 sts.)

Round 5: *K2; M1, K1* OR *K2, Kf&b* around. (24 sts.)

Round 7: *K3; M1, K1* OR *K3, Kf&b* around. (30 sts.)

Round 9: *K4; M1, K1* OR *K4, Kf&b* around. (36 sts.)

Round 11: *K5; M1, K1* OR *K5, Kf&b* around. (42 sts.)

Round 13: *K6; M1, K1* OR *K6, Kf&b* around. (48 sts.)

Round 15: *K7; M1, K1* OR *K7, Kf&b* around. (54 sts.)

Round 17: *K8; M1, K1* OR *K8, Kf&b* around. (60 sts.)

Round 19: *K9; M1, K1* OR *K9, Kf&b* around. (66 sts.)

Round 21: *K10; M1, K1* OR *K10, Kf&b* around. (72 sts.)

Round 23: *K11; M1, K1* OR *K11, Kf&b* around. (78 sts.)

Round 25: *K12; M1, K1* OR *K12, Kf&b* around. (84 sts.)

Round 27: *K13; M1, K1* OR *K13, Kf&b* around. (90 sts.)

Round 29: *K14; M1, K1* OR *K14, Kf&b* around. (96 sts.)

Round 31: *K15; M1, K1* OR *K15, Kf&b* around. (102 sts.)
